Inland Rivers Marine Terminal


Situated on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway where it intersects the Mississippi River, the Inland Rivers Marine Terminal (IRMT) is a 84-acre intermodal facility of the Port of Greater Baton Rouge. The IRMT is strategically located at the hub of an extraordinary waterborne transportation network connecting the U.S. heartland with international markets. The facility also serves as a transshipment point to other major U.S. Gulf of Mexico seaports including New Orleans and Houston.
